As part of the vision for our retreat there is an ethical and social conscience which ties in with the way we manage and farm the land around us. This is a deep response to our beliefs in the welfare of the planet and our small way of contriubuting to this.
We try to be as eco-friendly, ethical and socially aware as possible. We do this by using local produce, chosing ethical eco-products and using them throughout Cowslip Meadows.
You will see that we use ‘Who Gives A Crap UK‘ for toilet roll. Not only does it look fun but meets all the credentials of a true eco & ethical product.
For laundry & cleaning we tend to use staple products from Ecover, and Delphis Eco but will always try out new to market brands too. They have to do the job for us to move to another brand though.
All our laundry is done on site, and minimise waste by opting for refill options for the products we use the most of.
