Luxuriously restored to an exceptional standard, Corky is a characterful wood clad cabin  offering a light and airy interior with stunning views all around, creating the perfect ambience for a true connection with nature.

The open plan space offers a restful living area, a comfortable, large sofa adorned with cosy throws and cushions where you might want to watch a film using the projector or enjoy the peaceful surroundings with a favourite book or game. A dining table and fully fitted kitchen, with a full-size cooker and fridge, ensures convenience, while an air conditioning unit will provide comfort whatever the season. Corky has two double bedrooms, each with beautiful quality fabrics and highend bedding. The second bedroom is slightly smaller and best suited for a single adult or a couple content with a snug space. A beautifully designed shower room completes the property with a seperate lavatory.

Decorated with wood cladding inside and out, this holiday cabin is heavily insulated and boasts large picture windows framing the breathtaking Leicestershire countryside.

Stepping outside on to a large expansive private decking area, there is a four-person wood-fired hot tub, perfect for complete relaxation. The spacious deck provides an ideal spot to enjoy a relaxing drink and watch the sun set against the rural idyll and the BBQ area lets you make the most of al fresco dining.

Cowslip Meadows is an ideal choice for a countryside digital detox, there is no wifi or TV.

Nestled amidst picturesque rural landscapes, Corky provides easy access to attractions like the Armourgeddon Military Museum (5 miles) and Foxton Locks (3.5 miles). Kibworth is a great spot for grabbing a bite to eat and the high street features a variety of shops, including a convenience store where you can pick up any essentials (4 miles). Just 5 miles away is Market Harborough  – visit Harborough Museum,  Welland Park, and a monthly farmers’ market . A little further away, Rutland offers Rutland Water Nature Reserve and Normanton Church (30 miles). At 12 miles distant, the city of Leicester  is also within reach.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely rural accommodation. From the moment we arrived, Kate went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her. She checked in with us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed, and her kindness and attention to detail truly made our stay exceptional. The views were amazing. The peaceful location combined with Kate’s outstanding hospitality made this a perfect getaway. Highly recommended!

We had a really lovely stay. Some good walks from the shepherds hut – we didn’t know the area at all and we’re really glad we visited. Enjoyed the hot tub and doggies loved their treats. The accommodation was perfect for us – very quaint with beautiful views. Wish it had been warmer so we could have made more use of the terrace! The owners were lovely – very helpful and welcoming. H
