Our traditional glazed wood-fired sauna can comfortably accommodate up to six people at one time. To maintain a calm and safe wellness environment, the sauna is strictly reserved for guests over 16 years old.

Does the rural sauna take a long time to heat up?

The sauna takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours to reach optimal temperature. Please note that the sauna is not pre-heated before your arrival, allowing you to manage your session time seamlessly. A refreshing cold outdoor shower is located right outside.

How do I heat up the private wood-burning hot tub?

Your private hot tub will take approximately 2 hours to heat up using the integrated wood burner. We will happily light the hot tub prior to your arrival so it is warming up for you. Be sure to check our step-by-step video on the Hut Instructions Page for refueling tips.

What firewood and starter supplies are provided in the huts?

We supply a generous complimentary starter kit containing logs, kindling, paper, and firelighters for your hot tub and log burner. If you run out during your stay, extra firewood kits can easily be purchased on-site.

Are children allowed to stay at Cowslip Meadows?

We operate as an adult-focused retreat and regretfully cannot accommodate children under 14 years old. However, babes in arms are always very welcome to stay with you.

Where do I park my car at Cowslip Meadows?

We provide secure, off-road private parking for 1 car per hut, located just a short, scenic walk from your accommodation. If you are hosting a workshop, free parking is also available right outside The Studio event space.
